Sworn English Translator Wrocław

A sworn translator of English is a person authorized to prepare certified (sworn) translations, which are required in official and legal matters. Authorization is obtained after passing the state examination of the Ministry of Justice and being entered on the list of certified sworn translators.

I have been a sworn English translator since 2016, listed with the Ministry of Justice under number TP/89/16. I provide certified translations of documents intended for offices, courts, and institutions in Poland and abroad.

When is a certified translation needed?

A certified translation is required wherever a document is to be used in an office, court, bank, Civil Registry Office (USC), or before a notary. This applies, among others, to foreign documents submitted in Poland and Polish documents intended for use abroad.

Certified translations are signed and stamped by a sworn translator and include a statement of conformity with the original. This ensures they are accepted by all institutions, both domestically and internationally.

Is the original document required for a certified translation?

Not always. A certified translation can be performed based on a copy, scan, or electronic file, with an appropriate annotation. However, you should ensure that the institution requiring the document accepts a translation made from a copy.

How much does a certified English translation cost?

The price of a certified translation depends on the type of document and the number of characters. Sample prices are available in the price list. The most accurate quote can be obtained by submitting the document for an online quote.

Can I receive a certified translation in electronic form?

Yes. A certified translation can be provided as a PDF file with the qualified electronic signature of the certified translator or as a scan of a paper translation with a seal and signature.
